Mohr Partners Appoints Kam Schroeder to Lead National Brokerage Expansion

Schroeder joins the Dallas-based advisory firm after serving as Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Newmark, where he managed operations across Oakland and Walnut Creek. His professional background includes leadership tenures at JLL, The Staubach Company, and Hughes Marino, providing him with deep expertise in tenant representation and portfolio optimization. Chairman and CEO Robert Shibuya pointed to this appointment as a critical step in cultivating the firm’s next generation of leadership.

This shift follows a aggressive 18-month expansion period for Mohr Partners, which has seen the firm widen its footprint in markets including Detroit, Seattle, and Phoenix. By integrating specialized senior talent in economic incentives and energy consulting, the company aims to move beyond traditional tenant representation. Schroeder noted that while technology remains a core driver for the industry, the firm’s future trajectory will rely on human capital and a renewed focus on client trust. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and remains active in charitable work alongside his family in the East Bay region.
