The three-day trade fair, held in Panama City, serves as the primary gateway for regional auto parts buyers. By grouping local firms under the "Superior Products of Qingdao" banner, the delegation aims to leverage the city’s industrial scale to compete more effectively against international rivals. This exhibition model focuses on showcasing high-quality tires and specialized components as a cohesive regional offering rather than individual product lines.
During the opening day, Economic and Commercial Counselor Zhou Quan of the Chinese Embassy in Panama toured the pavilion, highlighting the region's expanding vehicle fleet as a critical opportunity for Chinese exporters. She noted that the combination of Qingdao’s established manufacturing base and favorable cost-performance ratios positions these firms to address the sustained demand in the Latin American aftermarket. The project represents a core element of the CCPIT's broader 2026 strategy to elevate the international profile of Qingdao’s industrial sector.
