North American Mining Secures Long-Term Aggregate Contracts

Nearly 5 million tons of annual production capacity are now locked in as North American Mining finalized two multi-year contract renewals in Florida and Arkansas. These agreements, which include a significant 20-year extension for limestone operations, solidify the company's position in regional infrastructure supply chains through the next two decades.

The company’s most substantial commitment comes from a central Florida client. By doubling the previous agreement term to 20 years, North American Mining will continue dragline services across two limestone quarries. The project involves upgrading to higher-capacity equipment, a move designed to boost operational efficiency and push annual output to between 3 million and 4 million tons.

In southwest Arkansas, the company secured a four-year extension for its sand and gravel operations. This site is slated to contribute approximately 800,000 tons of material annually. Phillip Berry, President of North American Mining, noted that these renewals depend on long-term performance and deep integration into client operations. The contracts serve as a core component of the firm's broader strategy to expand its diversified portfolio of long-term mining services under the NACCO Natural Resources umbrella.
