Beyond the current emergency response, Alley Cat Allies continues a broader mission in Puerto Rico, which includes recent successful negotiations with the National Park Service to protect the cats of Paseo del Morro from culling. The team is now shifting focus toward fostering long-term, nonlethal community support systems throughout the capital.
