Cineverse Targets $12 Million Revenue Boost With New CTV Ad Tech

Cineverse is looking to bridge the gap between audio and television with the launch of VAUDIO™, a platform that converts existing radio and podcast commercials into visual ads for connected TV. The company projects the technology will generate $12 million in annual revenue by the end of its fiscal year.

The tool allows brands to bypass the cost and complexity of traditional video production by pairing audio assets with visual elements optimized for the living room screen. Built by the company’s Matchpoint® team and integrated into the existing IndiCue ad infrastructure, the product aims to increase inventory fill for streaming platforms while providing advertisers with a new way to reach addressable audiences. According to Cineverse President Erick Opeka, the offering requires minimal incremental investment, allowing for a projected contribution margin of 15 to 20 percent.

Early partners utilizing the platform include A24, Aura Entertainment, NEON, Signature Entertainment, and Well Go USA. The system offers three primary formats: Host, which combines host-read audio with talent imagery; Brand, which uses product assets; and Loop, which incorporates motion graphics. By repurposing existing audio campaigns, Cineverse hopes to capture ad spend from brands that have previously struggled to enter the high-impact CTV environment due to production barriers.
