Efficiency gains are central to the rollout. The firm has overhauled its digital onboarding, cutting setup times from over 20 days to as few as 2.5 days. According to company data, this shift has eliminated common errors in submissions and reduced plan cancellations during the implementation phase. Advisors can now manage Individual(k) setups directly through the company’s Advisor Central hub.
Mary Torgerson, head of small business retirement at Ascensus, stated that the move is designed to provide scalable capabilities that grow alongside a business. This update arrives as data shows a disconnect in the market; while 98% of organizations offer retirement plans, only 58% of employers believe their staff fully utilizes them. The company intends for these simplified digital tools to bridge that engagement gap by making plan adoption less burdensome.
