Invesco Assets Slip to $2.45 Trillion Amid Market Volatility

A $59 billion hit from unfavorable market returns dragged down Invesco Ltd.’s total assets under management to $2,447.1 billion by the end of July. Invesco Assets Slip to $2.45 Trillion Amid Market Volatility

While market performance weighed on the firm's bottom line, investors continued to pour capital into cash-equivalent vehicles. Money market net inflows reached $22.8 billion during the period, providing a buffer against the broader market downturn. Foreign exchange fluctuations also offered a slight tailwind, contributing an additional $4.6 billion to the total figure.

Looking at the broader quarterly performance, Invesco reported preliminary average total assets of $2,453.0 billion through July 31. Active management strategies accounted for $1,216.9 billion of that average. The firm’s July data, which remains subject to final adjustments, highlights the ongoing tension between steady client inflows and the volatility currently impacting global asset valuations.
