A new $605 million debt financing round led by Brookfield Asset Management has propelled 5C Group’s total capital raise beyond $1.4 billion. The Montreal-based developer plans to channel these funds into its sprawling AI factory network, accelerating construction projects across Memphis, Ohio, and Phoenix to meet surging demand for high-density compute capacity.

The company specializes in engineering integrated campuses where power, cooling, and network architecture are unified to handle the extreme demands of modern GPU clusters. By synchronizing hardware deployment with liquid cooling and rack-scale systems, 5C aims to provide a reliable backbone for complex AI workloads. This latest injection of capital follows a successful 2025 campaign that saw the company secure $835 million in combined equity and debt, signaling institutional confidence in their specialized infrastructure model.

Jonathan Ahdoot, Chief Executive Officer of 5C, noted that the funding strengthens the firm’s ability to execute at scale while maintaining long-term community investments. Brookfield’s participation, led by Managing Partner Hamish Kidd, underscores the shift in global capital toward critical digital assets. With a roadmap capacity exceeding 1.5 gigawatts, 5C is positioning itself as a primary provider for the largest AI users who require massive, purpose-built environments to support their evolving deployment strategies.
