Remedium Bio Secures $10 Million to Advance Gene Therapy Platform

The capital injection allows Remedium Bio to accelerate its Prometheus platform, a gene therapy technology designed to turn adipocytes into durable sites for therapeutic protein production. By enabling long-lasting, adjustable dosing through minimally invasive subcutaneous administration, the company aims to replace traditional, frequent protein injections for patients suffering from cardiometabolic, immunological, and neurological conditions.

As part of the financing agreement, Harry Robb of Lifespan Vision Ventures joins the Remedium board. Andrew Worden, founding partner at Lifespan, noted that the platform addresses critical shortcomings in current biologic therapies, while Remedium CEO Frank Luppino emphasized the firm's focus on scaling its pipeline toward clinical readiness. The company remains committed to proving its technology's efficacy as a cost-effective alternative to standard chronic care treatments.
