The redesign simplifies the iconic logo for better visibility both on physical retail shelves and across digital storefronts. Beyond the logo, the updated packaging features new imagery designed to highlight peanut butter as a versatile snack paired with everything from apple slices to rice cakes. This shift reflects a broader strategy by The J.M. Smucker Co. to align the brand with changing consumer habits that favor portability and convenience.
Marketing Director Shelly Kowal stated that the intention was to honor the brand's heritage while injecting new energy into the product line. This evolution coincides with recent portfolio expansions, including the rebranding of Jif To Go to Jif Dippers and the introduction of new spread flavors. While the appearance of the jars will begin shifting in October 2026, the company confirmed that the recipes remain unchanged. Consumers can expect to see the new look rolling out in waves through the winter season.
