Twain Financial Partners Launches Securitized Credit Facility

St. Louis-based specialty finance firm Twain Financial Partners has closed its inaugural securitized letter of credit facility, a move designed to address the tightening capital requirements facing digital infrastructure and energy developers as they navigate increasingly complex interconnection processes across the United States.

Twain Financial Partners Launches Securitized Credit Facility

The company finalized the first transaction under this new platform on August 6, 2026, providing the necessary interconnection security for a utility-scale battery storage project. By securing the MISO ERAS M2 posting requirement, the facility allows the project to proceed to the next stage of its interconnection study. This structure offers developers a way to satisfy heavy financial obligations without depleting liquidity needed for core project development.

Ari Katz, Vice President of Business Development at Twain, noted that as interconnection timelines lengthen, developers are encountering substantial capital demands. The firm intends for this platform to provide a scalable source of credit capacity to support long-term infrastructure growth. Guggenheim Securities acted as the sole structuring advisor and placement agent for the facility, with legal counsel provided by White & Case LLP and Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP. Twain currently manages approximately $6 billion in assets, focusing on complex investments within the power, digital infrastructure, and real estate sectors.
