Kuratz arrives at Scinai with a deep background in biotechnology, medical devices, and industrial management. His resume includes senior leadership roles at Kamada, Gamida Cell, and PepsiCo-Frito-Lay. In this new capacity, he will manage the company's supply chain, procurement, and logistics, while overseeing critical enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, and quality management. His mandate also covers the continuous improvement of cross-functional processes across the organization.
This leadership change follows Scinai’s acquisition of Recipharm Israel in early 2026, a move that integrated a manufacturing site in Yavne with the company’s existing Jerusalem facility. The expanded platform now offers a wider range of capabilities, from biologics process development to small-molecule API synthesis and sterile fill-and-finish services. According to Reichman, the appointment is intended to sharpen operational discipline and establish the robust systems necessary to support the company's growth as it services a broader international client base.
