PAM Health to Expand Rehabilitation Services in Charlotte

Charlotte is set to host a new 42-bed medical rehabilitation facility as PAM Health targets the city’s rapid population growth. The hospital represents a significant local investment, with the company creating approximately 200 clinical, administrative, and support roles to staff the upcoming inpatient rehabilitation center.

PAM Health to Expand Rehabilitation Services in Charlotte

This facility marks the first of four planned inpatient rehabilitation hospitals for North Carolina, broadening the reach of the Pennsylvania-based provider. According to Anthony Misitano, founder and CEO of PAM Health, the city’s status as a top-tier growth market makes it a logical hub for delivering specialized rehabilitative care. The site will focus on complex recovery cases, including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, and post-surgical rehabilitation, utilizing a mix of physical, occupational, and speech therapies.

Beyond general recovery, the hospital will integrate workers' compensation programs tailored to the regional economy. By providing return-to-work solutions, the provider aims to assist local businesses in managing employee recovery. Once operational, the facility will maintain a continuum of care by offering outpatient therapy options, allowing patients to transition home while continuing their treatment programs.
