The Heze facility functions as an end-to-end ecosystem, consolidating raw material processing, LFP battery cell manufacturing, and system integration under one roof. By centralizing the entire supply chain, the company aims to bypass traditional manufacturing bottlenecks and accelerate the deployment of large-capacity storage solutions. HiTHIUM CEO Wang Pengcheng highlighted that the site will serve as a core engine for an industrial cluster, connecting upstream and downstream partners to support generation, transmission, and distribution needs.
Technological efficiency remains the site’s primary competitive advantage. The plant utilizes fifth-generation production lines that boast a single-line capacity exceeding 15 GWh. With an automation rate surpassing 95% and AI-driven quality control across 1,000 checkpoints, the company reports a 58% reduction in labor requirements and a 50% decrease in floor space usage per GWh compared to older manufacturing methods. This infrastructure is designed to drive down costs while scaling production to meet surging international demand for lithium-based storage.
