The company successfully actioned its full $300 million Year 1 net cost synergy target five months ahead of schedule. Following this performance, management raised its 2026 realized net cost synergy target to $220 million, up from $200 million. Founder and CEO Robert Reffkin noted that the firm’s brokerage outperformance against the broader market accelerated, with Gross Transaction Value climbing 15.9% year-over-year on a pro forma basis, significantly outpacing the 6% growth seen in total market volumes.

Financial liquidity remains a focal point for the firm, which closed the quarter with $694 million in cash, up $210 million from the first quarter. CFO Scott Wahlers confirmed that the company plans to utilize its strong cash flow to redeem $500 million in notes due in 2027. While total brokerage agent counts saw a slight shift, the company reported a 95.5% retention rate and continues to scale its proprietary "Home" technology platform, with plans to provide access to nearly 50,000 agents by the end of September.
