King arrives with over 25 years of experience in the global health and wellbeing sector. Most recently, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer at CBI Home Health, where he managed a national network of 8,000 clinicians. His background also includes a 15-year tenure in the employee wellbeing space, highlighted by his time as Global Senior Vice President at TELUS Health and his leadership role at LifeWorks.

This leadership transition arrives five months before the company launches a major update to its platform on January 1, 2027. The new system shifts away from traditional utilization metrics, focusing instead on measurable health outcomes for employees. King emphasized that the current benefits landscape often overlooks individuals who are not in immediate crisis, noting that employers require more substantial evidence of health improvements than simple login counts. The platform will offer configurable programs addressing specific concerns such as mental health, cardiometabolic conditions, and GLP-1 support.
