The acquisition allows Genergy to fold URA’s client base into its broader suite of engineering, compliance, and energy procurement solutions. Clients of the newly acquired firm will gain access to UM2.0, Genergy’s intelligence platform that employs artificial intelligence to analyze infrastructure performance and financial optimization. Dario Gristina, founder and CEO of Genergy, stated that the merger aims to combine URA’s customer support reputation with advanced engineering capabilities to streamline building operations.
Dick Simon, president and owner of URA, noted that finding a partner capable of sustaining the high level of service his clients expect was the primary objective of the sale. Backed by the Tarte Family Office, Genergy continues its strategy of growth through technology investment and targeted acquisitions. By centralizing services—ranging from sub-metering design to power grid identification—the company intends to move commercial property management away from fragmented, multi-vendor models toward a unified, intelligence-driven framework.
