Brandeburg’s career includes senior roles at Wendy’s, where he oversaw operations for approximately 800 restaurants and managed complex multi-brand portfolios. His arrival at the Philadelphia-based company is the final piece of an executive restructuring that includes Senior Vice President of Development Angela Coppler, Chief Financial Officer Alex Chu, and Vice President of Marketing Madalyn Weintraub. The team aims to balance rapid market development with the rigorous operational discipline required of a family-owned franchise.
The strategy focuses on simplifying back-end processes for franchisees while elevating the brand’s reputation for premium ingredients. Having previously collaborated with Coppler during a decade of modernization efforts at Wendy's, Brandeburg brings a familiar dynamic to the leadership group. According to CEO Nicholas Papanier Jr., the goal is to integrate development and operations to ensure that each new location replicates the quality established when the company was founded in 1992. Brandeburg emphasized that his focus will remain on building repeatable systems that allow operators to prioritize food quality and team management over administrative complexity.
