The award ceremony is scheduled for September 28-30 at the Future Place conference in Irving, Texas. Zonda CEO Jeff Meyers noted that the selection reflects O’Reilly’s ability to balance capital discipline with a focus on the human experience, ensuring that communities remain resilient across generations. Since taking the helm in 2020 after serving as CFO, O’Reilly has overseen the expansion of projects ranging from Summerlin in Nevada and Bridgeland in Texas to the urban evolution of Ward Village in Honolulu.
O’Reilly attributes the success of these projects to a disciplined approach that prioritizes the correct sequencing of infrastructure and amenities. He emphasizes that the development of these spaces is a collaborative effort, positioning his role as a steward of long-term vision rather than a singular architect. Beyond the ceremony, O’Reilly will be featured on the cover of the Q3 edition of BUILDER Magazine. He joins a roster of industry leaders who have received the accolade, including Syd Kitson, Adrian Foley, and Rex Jensen.
