Denver Broncos Guard Quinn Meinerz Partners with Grip Boost for New Gloves

The Big Skill 2.0, announced August 4 by Parkland-based Grip Boost, integrates Kevlar-reinforced construction with a hybrid palm design that blends rugged leather with the company’s signature grip technology. Unlike traditional gloves, these are built to withstand the constant hand fighting and blocking inherent to line play. The design incorporates thermoformed EVA impact protection and built-in wrist padding to absorb the repeated shocks linemen endure during pass rushing or blocking assignments.

"Playing on the offensive line is about winning with your hands," Meinerz stated, noting that the balance of control and protection is essential for finishing blocks. Beyond the technical specs, the gloves feature an extended cuff for a locked-in feel and come in six distinct colorways. Grip Boost CEO Matt Furstenburg noted that the product aims to address the specific needs of linemen who have historically been sidelined in favor of skill-position equipment. The gloves are currently available for purchase, complete with a ventilated bag for maintenance between games.
