The Boston-based company saw U.S. net revenue climb to $3.1 billion, an 8.7% rise compared to the same period last year. International revenue remained largely flat at $394 million, representing a slight 1.3% decline. Despite a net loss of $1 million, Wayfair posted an adjusted EBITDA of $242 million, signaling a robust operational performance fueled by a 6% increase in total orders.
CEO Niraj Shah attributed the momentum to strong market share capture and the performance of the company's specialty retail brands, which grew by nearly 20%. The luxury brand Perigold saw even sharper gains, exceeding 35% growth. With 21.7 million active customers now on the platform, the company is betting on its current strategic initiatives to further accelerate expansion throughout the remainder of the year.
