OutRival, which has secured over $50 million in Series B funding, specializes in "Digital Workers"—AI agents designed to handle outbound sales, lead reactivation, and abandoned-booking recovery. Unlike reactive chatbots, these agents proactively manage conversations across voice, SMS, and email. To date, the platform has processed over 11 million outbound interactions and 36 million data-entry tasks across sectors like insurance and finance.
Jeff Herzfeld joins the firm with two decades of commercial experience, including senior roles at Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Group, and Virgin Voyages. His mandate involves integrating OutRival’s technology into existing CRM systems to help brands manage "warm" leads that human teams often miss due to capacity constraints. According to OutRival CEO Ruben Harris, the technology is built to carry specific commercial quotas and drive measurable revenue rather than simply managing volume. The platform requires roughly two weeks for deployment, offering travel companies a way to maintain consistent customer relationships from initial inquiry through post-travel follow-up.
