Frost & Sullivan Names Vinod K. Aggarwal Chief Economist

In his new role, Aggarwal will guide governments and corporations through the complexities of non-market strategies and evolving global competitiveness. Krishna Srinivasan, the firm’s global managing partner, noted that the appointment aims to bolster the company’s ability to provide clients with foresight at the intersection of business and policy.

Aggarwal holds a distinguished academic portfolio, serving as a professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and director of the Berkeley APEC Study Center. An expert in geoeconomics, he is the author of over 20 books, including recent works focused on industrial policy and the shifting landscape of global economic statecraft. His background includes advising both public and private sector organizations worldwide, drawing on expertise in areas ranging from international trade to executive education.
