Local entrepreneur Michael Landier, founder of Landier Entertainment, spearheads the new ownership group alongside team president Ruben Herrera and general manager Fran Flory. The organization has secured Lee's Family Forum in Henderson as its home venue, a facility that also hosts the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights. This move aims to anchor the team within the growing Southern Nevada sports landscape.
To lead the team on the court, the franchise has hired Rachel Morris as head coach. Previously associate head coach at Indiana University, Morris earned recognition as one of Volleyball Magazine’s “Under 40 College Coaching Hotshots” for her offensive innovations and ability to develop elite talent. Her mandate is to establish a fast, competitive culture that reflects the city's high standards for professional sports entertainment.
MLV Commissioner Jaime Weston noted that the team’s return serves as a milestone for the league, which plans to expand to 12 teams by 2027. Beyond the matches, the franchise is launching a targeted outreach program across the Las Vegas Valley, focusing on youth sports and school partnerships to build a grassroots foundation. The team has also unveiled a refreshed brand identity and logo, with further roster and partnership announcements expected in the coming months.
