The summit, scheduled for August 27-28, 2026, at the MGM National Harbor, gathers a diverse coalition of sovereign representatives, private equity firms, and institutional investors. Under the patronage of the Asante King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the event focuses on high-impact sectors including mining, energy transition, technology, and manufacturing.
Nana Agyeman Prempeh, president of the Millennium Excellence Foundation, noted that the landscape for African investment has fundamentally shifted. Improved institutional frameworks and sophisticated blended finance models have successfully de-risked projects, creating more attractive risk-adjusted returns for long-term capital. Beyond keynote addresses, the program facilitates direct engagement through curated deal rooms and government roundtables, bridging the gap between policy incentives and commercial reality. High-level participants include Ghana’s Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang and industry figures such as Arian Simone of Fearless Fund and Fred Swaniker of Sand Technologies.
