Following a successful maiden flight in Alatau City earlier this May, AutoFlight is utilizing the international phygital tournament to showcase the capabilities of its air taxi models. The event draws over 800 competitors from 50 countries, positioning the demonstration as a proof-of-concept for regional connectivity and urban mobility. The company is operating in tandem with Alatau Advance Air Group Ltd. (AAAG) to navigate the complexities of local commercial deployment.
Sergey Khegay, CEO of AAAG, noted that these flights serve as a systematic integration effort, bolstered by recent legislative shifts and ongoing infrastructure development. For AutoFlight, the objective extends beyond simple transit. Senior Vice President Kellen Xie stated that the technology aims to redefine regional logistics, emergency response, and aerial tourism. By prioritizing zero-emission aviation, the partnership seeks to establish a sustainable transportation paradigm across Central Asia.
