Hisense Unveils PX4 Pro Laser Cinema With FreeSync Gaming Support

Transforming the living room into a theater, Hisense has launched the PX4 Pro, a TriChroma laser projector capable of casting images up to 200 inches. The device aims to bridge the gap between high-end professional cinema and everyday household utility, balancing daylight brightness with advanced gaming performance features.

Hisense Unveils PX4 Pro Laser Cinema With FreeSync Gaming Support

The PX4 Pro is anchored by the LPU Digital Laser Engine 3.0, which achieves 118% BT.2020 color coverage for heightened color accuracy. By utilizing 3,500 ANSI lumens, the projector maintains visibility in ambient light, while Dynamic Grayscale Technology and an enhanced Iris Lens work to preserve shadow detail in HDR content. This hardware configuration is designed to provide the depth and nuance typically reserved for dedicated screening rooms.

Beyond cinema applications, Hisense is positioning the unit as a primary gaming hub. It holds the distinction of being the first TriChroma Laser Cinema certified by FreeSync Premium, offering a 2K 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms latency. A forthcoming VIDAA software update will introduce Xbox Cloud Gaming, allowing users to stream titles directly to the projector without requiring a physical console. These specifications mark a shift in projector utility, moving the technology from passive media consumption to high-speed, interactive entertainment.
