Slant Launches AI-Driven Intake Forms to Streamline Advisor Onboarding

Seventy percent of financial firms lose business due to sluggish onboarding, often crippled by repetitive, manual paperwork. Lehi-based Slant aims to close this gap by launching AI-native Intake Forms, a tool that generates branded, dynamic data-collection documents through simple plain-language prompts, eliminating the need for fragmented third-party software.

Advisors can now generate custom forms by describing their needs, such as requesting spouse information or specific financial disclosures, which Slant then builds to match the firm’s branding. Because the tool is integrated directly into the platform’s CRM, it pulls existing client data to pre-fill known fields. This ensures clients only provide new information, while uploaded documents are automatically parsed and saved to the relevant files.

Thomas Clawson, co-founder of Slant, notes that removing friction during the initial client interaction is vital for firms prioritizing organic growth. Beyond data collection, the forms trigger downstream automations, such as team notifications or research tasks, effectively removing the manual burden of rekeying data. This release further consolidates the advisor tech stack, adding to Slant’s existing suite of AI agents, notetaking tools, and project management features.
