The West Chicago-based manufacturer managed to navigate uneven market conditions by leveraging its diversified business model. According to CEO Paul Reitz, the company’s three core reporting segments—consumer, earthmoving/construction, and agricultural—each contributed between 30% and 40% of total revenue. The consumer business proved to be the standout performer, surging 27% compared to the same period last year, while the EMC segment saw modest growth of 1.4%. Conversely, the agricultural division faced pressure from elevated financing costs and lower farm incomes, resulting in a 5% sales decline.
Free cash flow reached $26 million for the quarter, a result management attributed to improved working capital efficiency. Looking ahead, CFO Tony Eheli set third-quarter sales expectations between $440 million and $460 million. The company is maintaining its full-year outlook, projecting total sales in the range of $1.85 billion to $1.95 billion and adjusted EBITDA between $105 million and $115 million.
