Cloud Capital Secures $520 Million in Triple-A Data Center Financing

Cloud Capital has finalized a $520 million asset-backed securities issuance, marking the first time a data center program has earned Triple-A ratings from three independent agencies. The transaction establishes a new master trust structure designed to provide scalable financing for the firm's core data center joint venture strategy.

The issuance, secured by an 80 MW hyperscale facility in Northern Virginia, attracted significant institutional interest despite current market volatility. By securing top-tier ratings from Fitch, Morningstar DBRS, and Kroll, the firm demonstrated the strength of its underlying long-term contracted cash flows and conservative capital structure. This move creates a repeatable financing platform intended to support the firm’s ongoing global expansion.

Hossein Fateh, Founder and CEO of Cloud Capital, described the trust as a milestone in the firm's evolution as an institutional investment platform. According to Jason Weaver, Head of Capital Markets, the deal achieved the tightest spreads for a data center ABS transaction since the onset of the 2026 Middle East conflict. Guggenheim Securities served as the sole structuring advisor and active bookrunner, with Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley participating as passive bookrunners.
