NorthstarMLS Wins Inman Award as Project NexusRE Enters Testing Phase

The award serves as a validation for the industry-led effort to control data visibility and broker protections. Project NexusRE, which originated at NorthstarMLS with strategic input from WAV Group’s Fluente AI team, functions as a bridge between MLS listing databases and the various AI systems that rely on them. By centralizing permissions and rules, the platform seeks to ensure that data remains secure and governed even after it leaves the local MLS environment.

REcore is now transitioning the project from a strategic vision into scalable infrastructure. To spearhead this deployment, the company has appointed Jeff Fullbright as Chief Information and Strategy Officer. Fullbright brings two decades of experience in scalable systems to the role, where he will oversee the transition of the project into alpha and beta testing. This phase will allow early partners to validate governance models and deployment strategies before a wider industry rollout. While NorthstarMLS will remain an innovation partner, REcore is handling the commercialization to ensure the technology is accessible to MLSs and brokers nationwide rather than restricted to a single organization.
