Exhibit Supply Company Returns to the Trading Card Market

Founded in 1901, the Exhibit Supply Company is relaunching as a premium brand dedicated exclusively to music and pop culture collectibles. After more than a century of history, the label that once captured the likenesses of Charlie Chaplin and Babe Ruth is now targeting modern fans with autograph and relic cards.

Exhibit Supply Company Returns to the Trading Card Market

The company, originally based in Chicago, holds a unique place in hobby history as the first manufacturer to release trading cards independently of tobacco or gum products. This pivot helped define the modern trading card industry, establishing a format that featured icons ranging from Marilyn Monroe to The Rolling Stones. By 2026, the brand plans to distribute premium boxed collections across mass retail and specialty hobby stores.

CEO Robert Thomsen stated that the revival aims to provide a dedicated home for music and pop culture within the collecting community. The new product line will prioritize authentic autographs and cards containing stage-worn items, intending to bridge the gap between the brand's long-standing heritage and contemporary collector demands. This relaunch marks the first time in decades that the ESCO name will serve as a primary player in the global collectibles market.
