Northeast Indiana Bancorp Declares Dividend and Adds Banking Veteran

Northeast Indiana Bancorp will pay a cash dividend of $0.19 per share on August 27, 2026, to shareholders of record by August 13. Simultaneously, the parent company of First Federal Savings Bank has expanded its leadership team, appointing retired banking executive Kevin L. Deardorff to its board of directors effective July 28.

The dividend announcement follows a period where the company’s stock traded at $24.10 per share as of July 28, 2026, with a book value of $24.11. Based on the latest quarterly payout, the annualized dividend yield stands at 3.15% for the 2,349,909 outstanding common shares.

Kevin L. Deardorff brings over four decades of industry experience to the role. He previously served as Executive Vice President at Lake City Bank, where he oversaw retail operations for a 50-office network until his retirement in 2021. Michael Zahn, President and CEO of First Federal Savings Bank, noted that Deardorff’s background will assist the institution in maintaining its focus on disciplined growth and community-level service. Deardorff expressed his intent to support the leadership team as they navigate the current financial landscape across the bank's nine offices in Huntington, Warsaw, Fort Wayne, and Roanoke.
