The EU2-1000MF represents a significant performance leap for the company’s flatbed portfolio. Featuring a newly developed printhead, the machine delivers 1.5 times the productivity of its predecessor, the EU-1000MF. Despite the jump in output, the manufacturer has kept pricing consistent with the previous model to ensure a smoother transition for existing shops looking to upgrade their capacity.
Designed for demanding production environments, the printer supports materials up to 3.74 inches thick and media sizes reaching 48 by 96 inches. The system integrates with VersaWorks 7 RIP software and utilizes new E-US inks, creating a streamlined, end-to-end production ecosystem. Ryugo Nimura, Executive Officer at Roland DG, noted that the primary goal is to strip away the complexity of mounting and laminating, allowing operators to move from file to finished board with greater consistency and control. The unit is available immediately through authorized dealers across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
