Murphy, currently of counsel in the firm’s Labor & Employment Group, manages a practice that bridges high-stakes litigation and strategic workplace counseling. She advises national and regional clients on complex personnel matters, ranging from mass layoffs to compliance with shifting federal and state regulations. Her courtroom experience includes representing employers before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination in cases involving harassment, retaliation, and claims of discrimination.
Beyond her litigation work, Murphy is a fixture in Massachusetts legal governance. As a past President of the Massachusetts Bar Association, she has focused on professional development and workplace health. Her influence extends to the SJC Standing Committee on Lawyer Well-Being, which she helped establish as a Founding Co-Chair.
