The upcoming event marks a significant expansion for the brand, introducing a dual-venue format that combines traditional street-legal drag racing on Woodward Avenue with a new road course track shootout inside the M1 Concourse. According to Dodge CEO Matt McAlear, the company aims to push the boundaries of its performance culture by delivering a more intense experience for the thousands of enthusiasts expected to attend.
Beyond the vehicle debut, the festival serves as a hub for professional racing fans, offering autograph sessions with NHRA stars such as Tony Stewart, Leah Pruett, Matt Hagan, and Ida Zetterstrom. Ram NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series drivers Corey Lajoie, Brenden Queen, and Justin Haley will also participate in the weekend's activities. For those unable to attend in person, the drag racing action will be broadcast via livestream on the official Dodge and MotorTrend YouTube channels on August 8.
