Zou arrives at Zircon with over two decades of experience spanning biotechnology and semiconductor sectors. Her previous tenure includes a Vice President role at Myriad Genetics, where she managed corporate acquisitions and product launches. Her resume also features operational and strategic finance roles at Western Digital, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Marvell Semiconductor, and IBM, providing a deep background in managing technology-driven product cycles.
CEO John Stauss cited Zou’s history of driving alignment across complex organizations as a primary driver for the hire. As Zircon moves past its 50th anniversary, the company aims to leverage its 80-plus global patents to maintain its market position in electronic scanning tools. Zou holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from Stanford University, credentials the company expects will bolster its long-term value and precision-focused manufacturing goals.
