PanOxyl Expands Acne Portfolio with Sulfur and Benzoyl Peroxide Line

Nashville-based Revance is broadening its PanOxyl skincare line, moving into the high-growth sulfur market while reinforcing its position in benzoyl peroxide treatments. The launch of the Pore Refining Acne Mask and Acne Clearing Spot Treatment signals a shift toward specialized, dermatologist-backed solutions for diverse acne-prone skin needs.

PanOxyl Expands Acne Portfolio with Sulfur and Benzoyl Peroxide Line

The new Pore Refining Acne Mask marks PanOxyl’s entry into the sulfur category, utilizing 5% Colloidal Sulfur to address blackheads and excess oil. By blending Glacial and Kaolin clays with soothing agents like Bisabolol and Red Clover extract, the product aims to clear pores while maintaining the skin’s barrier health. This diversification allows the brand to capture market share in a segment previously untapped by its core offerings.

Simultaneously, the brand is doubling down on its flagship ingredient with the Acne Clearing Spot Treatment. This gel features 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, the highest strength available over-the-counter. To mitigate the irritation often associated with such high potency, the formula incorporates Niacinamide to reduce redness and Sodium Hyaluronate to retain moisture. According to Chief Marketing Officer Janelle Wichmann, the strategic expansion addresses evolving clinical demands, positioning the brand as a comprehensive leader in acne management. The products are currently available at Target and Amazon nationwide.
