The collaboration leverages EPAM’s global engineering force to move organizations beyond experimental AI pilots toward measurable business outcomes. As part of the initiative, the company plans to certify more than 5,000 consultants with over 10,000 credentials within the first year to ensure standardized, high-level deployment of OpenAI’s technology.
Elaina Shekhter, EPAM’s Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, emphasized that the focus remains on applying strategic intelligence to solve complex business problems. The firm is already testing this approach in production environments, notably with telecommunications provider 1&1. By utilizing EPAM’s AI/Run™.Transform platform, 1&1 deployed over 20 intelligent agents to handle customer inquiries, completing the project in under three months. This integration allows companies to embed intelligence across marketing, sales, and customer support while maintaining the security frameworks required for large-scale operations.
