Generali Global Corporate & Commercial is deploying Whatfix’s AI-native digital adoption platform across its AGORA underwriting system. The rollout, spanning 27 countries, aims to standardize global operations by embedding intelligent, real-time guidance directly into workflows to reduce support dependency and ensure process consistency for underwriters.

The integration marks a significant expansion of Whatfix within the Generali Group, building on previous deployments in Italy, Switzerland, and the UK. AGORA serves as the central hub for the insurer’s global operations, consolidating risk engineering, pricing, and policy administration into a single, standardized model. As the platform grew, the company encountered challenges regarding user adoption and process integrity in a highly regulated insurance environment, leading to a high volume of support requests related to workflow complexity.

By utilizing Whatfix’s ScreenSense technology, the insurer is now providing contextual, in-app support that understands user intent in real time. Matthew Richardson, Global Head of Operations at Generali GC&C, described the platform as an adoption control rather than a simple training tool, emphasizing its role in reinforcing correct procedures and reducing avoidable support demand. The initiative is expected to accelerate underwriter proficiency and improve data quality across the firm’s international business units. According to Whatfix CEO Khadim Batti, this implementation transforms how teams interact with technology, moving the focus from mere software deployment to measurable, intelligent outcomes.
