Tennessee American Water Opens 2026 Firefighter Grant Program

The program targets departments that serve the company's customer base across Tennessee and parts of northwest Georgia. According to company president Grant Evitts, these grants serve as a vital resource for crews managing the daily risks of protecting essential infrastructure and local residents.

Interested organizations must submit their requests through the company website by August 31, with final recipients scheduled for notification in September. Last year, the program distributed 17 grants to departments spanning Hamilton, Marion, and Sequatchie counties, as well as adjacent areas in Georgia.
