Verdek Adds Tesla V4 Supercharger to GSA Federal Contract

The integration of Tesla’s V4 platform into the existing GSA contract, identified by #GS-07F-172BA, allows departments including the Army, Navy, and Air Force to deploy infrastructure without initiating new solicitation processes. This move provides federal fleets access to chargers capable of delivering up to 500 kW per post, supporting both NACS and CCS1 vehicle standards.

Verdek CEO Guy Mannino noted that the primary goal is ensuring mission readiness across logistics corridors and training facilities. By tapping into Tesla’s network, which reports a 99.95% uptime across its global footprint, federal agencies aim to solve the reliability gaps that often hinder large-scale EV fleet transitions. The agreement covers comprehensive project support, ranging from initial engineering and site planning to long-term maintenance, effectively merging government fleet requirements with established commercial charging technology.
