The grant program, which distributed a total of $150,000 this year, prioritizes businesses that demonstrate significant growth potential and a commitment to advancing women within their respective communities. According to Carolyn Booth, Head of U.S. Personal & Business Banking at BMO, the selection process focused on evaluating business strength and the tangible impact of these companies on local economies across the bank's U.S. footprint.

Recipients span diverse sectors, including healthcare, consulting, and wellness. Among those awarded are Elizabeth Benditt of Balm Box LLC, Angela Cruz of Ndoro Healing Arts, and Kiley Peters of RAYNE IX. Beyond the financial infusion, winners gain entry to a structured support system that includes virtual summits, peer networking opportunities, and dedicated sessions with BMO business advisors. This effort aligns with BMO’s broader strategy to expand mentorship and credit access for founders, reinforcing the institution's ongoing investment in small business development.
