Calhoun arrives at the Cambridge-based company following executive tenures at RLDatix, Optum Insight, and Change Healthcare. His background in scaling organizations that serve payers and life sciences clients aligns with the firm’s current expansion strategy. TriNetX, which operates a federated health data network spanning 25 countries, currently tracks real-world data for more than 300 million patients.
During his tenure as interim CEO, Margolis oversaw a period of significant structural development, including a strategic investment from Regeneron and the acquisition of Zetta Genomics. Carlyle, the company’s lead investor, credited this period with solidifying the firm’s reach and data integrity. As Calhoun assumes the CEO position, the leadership shift aims to leverage the existing network to further refine actionable research insights for global healthcare stakeholders.
