ReNU syndrome, characterized by significant cognitive and language impairments, currently lacks any FDA-approved treatments. The condition was first discovered by an international research team led by Dr. Nicola Whiffin at the University of Oxford and Dr. Ernest Turro at the Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine.
