Mineard arrives at Truist with more than 25 years of industry experience. During his time at Jefferies, he served as Global Joint Head of Media, Communications, and Information Services, where he was instrumental in building a high-profile franchise for Data and Information Services clients across the United States and Europe. Based in New York, he will now focus on scaling the firm’s advisory capacity amid rising market demand for expertise in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.
His appointment reunites him with Thomas Wilson, who joined Truist in May and spent the previous eight years working alongside Mineard at Jefferies. Tom Hackett, Chairman and CEO of Truist Securities, noted that the duo's combined track record in complex M&A and capital markets is intended to bolster the firm’s competitive standing. The TMT group currently manages a broad portfolio spanning application software, fintech, and digital media as part of the broader Truist Wholesale Banking segment.
