Managing Partner Justin Nihiser, who previously scaled brands like Code Ninjas and School of Rock, is spearheading the project. His team views the academy as a response to the digital saturation of modern childhood, prioritizing tactile experiences over virtual ones. The curriculum covers piano, guitar, drums, and voice, with a heavy emphasis on measurable progress and public performance in local Houston venues.
Located at 3904 Gramercy Street, the academy intends to use its Houston base as a testing ground for a scalable model of music education. Unlike casual extracurricular programs, the instructors focus on defined outcomes, pushing students from beginner levels toward consistent performance milestones. The leadership group, which includes Barry Gibson and Matt Rogers, brings a history of managing over 300 franchise locations to this new endeavor. To mark the launch, the facility is hosting an open house on August 8 from noon to 2 p.m., featuring free trial lessons for prospective students.
