Corelight Appoints Amanda Berger to Lead Customer Strategy

After two decades of navigating the complexities of SaaS and cybersecurity, Amanda Berger joins Corelight as Chief Customer Officer. Her mandate is to oversee the company’s customer success organization, ensuring that the platform’s network evidence remains a core asset for security teams battling an increasingly automated threat landscape.

Corelight Appoints Amanda Berger to Lead Customer Strategy

Berger arrives with a 25-year history of scaling customer-focused operations at firms including HackerOne, Employ, and Lucidworks. CEO Brian Dye emphasized that her appointment is a strategic move to turn user trust into tangible business outcomes as the company expands its AI-driven security operations center capabilities. According to Dye, the goal is to ensure the value of the platform compounds as security teams integrate it into their long-term defense strategies.

Her background spans professional services roles at MicroStrategy and Guidance Software, where she managed digital investigation standards. For Berger, the transition to Corelight centers on the platform’s ability to provide clear, actionable data amidst the noise of modern cyber threats. She plans to focus on the entire customer lifecycle, from initial onboarding to long-term expansion, as organizations grapple with the vulnerability risks inherent in AI-driven attacks. This leadership change follows a broader series of organizational updates for the San Francisco-based firm, including the recent addition of industry veterans to its board and the technical expansion of its Open NDR platform to include passive asset classification.
