Purpose Health will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, specializing in building AI infrastructure and agentic AI solutions for providers, payors, and med-tech firms. By targeting strategic joint ventures and competency partnerships with major cloud and Electronic Health Record vendors, the company intends to transition away from traditional IT service models toward a more capital-efficient, high-productivity structure.
Sumit Ganguli joins the firm with a three-decade history of scaling healthcare technology operations. During his previous tenure as CEO of a similar enterprise from 2009 to 2024, he grew revenues 18-fold to approximately $175 million while expanding the workforce to nearly 4,000 employees. His background includes deploying reinforced learning-based monitoring tools and holding academic roles at Drexel University and Rutgers. David Ayanoglou, CFO of Healthcare Triangle, noted that Ganguli’s appointment is intended to accelerate the delivery of repeatable, outcome-oriented partnerships across U.S. and international markets.
