Sidus Space Taps Industry Veteran Alan Khalili as CFO

Khalili brings a background that spans public accounting, investment banking, and the leadership of space-based data platforms. His appointment marks a pivotal shift for the Cape Canaveral-based firm, which has spent the last year refining its balance sheet and expanding its portfolio of dual-use defense and commercial technologies. He takes over the role from John Burke, who held the position on an interim basis during the company's recent transition.

CEO Carol Craig noted that Khalili’s arrival aligns with Sidus Space’s push to advance its Fortis VPX digital mission computing platform and increase recurring revenue. For his part, Khalili intends to focus on the financial discipline required to convert the company’s vertically integrated satellite and AI offerings into sustained growth, working directly with the board to execute long-term strategic objectives.
